Question by Brian: Notre Dame First Year of Studies?
I’m in the 10th grade and I’ve just been looking at colleges and Notre Dame really caught my attention. I’ve been on the website and I saw the First Year of Studies. Can someone tell me what that is? Is it more of like a “liberal arts degree” in your first year before you declare a major? Thanks.

It’s what every incomeing freshman takes before going off into their respective majors. It is like saying “before you get your own education here, you will go through the Notre Dame base education”
it almost puts everybody on the same page. It is an awesome school, a good place to set a goal. I wanted to go there from eighth grade on and the goal boosted me to Cornell =D
